On this day of erve Yom Kippur (very loose translation: Yom Kippur eve day), we thought it fitting to highlight a piece from our recycled Judaica collection. And, since it's something we all need, what better metal art piece to highlight than "peace" or "shalom" written in Hebrew.
And, if this is your holiday, may you have a meaningful Yom Kippur.

Happy Autumnal Equinox! We're a tad obsessed with it turning Fall in the Northern Hemisphere, and although it feels like mid-summer here in the Mid-Atlantic, the leaves on the trees are changing ever so slightly. In honor of our very favorite season, we present one of our loveliest recycled metal art tree pieces, a wonderful. slightly minimalist piece that we call, obviously, "three trees." And, so much do we like this coming season, we'll end this post with a literary quote by
Albert Camus: Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower. We had a few days that felt like a glorious early Autumn here in the Mid-Atlantic states. And, as usually happens, it was short lived. But, we're patiently waiting for sweater weather, apple cider, and leaf peeping. And, until it's time (hurry up!), we're happy to present another leaf: a gorgeous recycled steel oil drum bowl in the shape of a large leaf.
And, as you might have guessed, it's not food safe (but we always feel compelled to make that disclaimer). And, it would make a super awesome wedding. gift. Now that Hurricane Irma has passed north of Haiti and people are ok, I'm happy to post a photo of a new metal art octopus instead of photos and reminiscences about my time spent in the small Caribbean island. The fierce octopus below is our newest addition to our delightful recycled metal art silhouette collection. This piece (and the off-kilter photo) are just prototypes, but we hope to have these available for sale soon. And, our thoughts with all those still in the path of Irma. ![]() |
