We have a lot of conversations about our recycled metal art Om. People who have seen the symbol, say while in a yoga studio, love it. Often, people are just captivated by the design, and we try to explain. We generally say that in Hinduism, the Om is the sound of the universe or a symbol that represents the entirety of the universe, and nothing at all. The sound it makes, we are told, is supposed to be of all the vowels. There’s more to all this, of course, and a quick online or library search should leave you feeling (almost) like an expert!
