Orders are shipped not later than two days after they are placed.
US orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail, which take approximately two to three days to arrive at most US destinations. We'll notify you by email as soon as your shipment is on its way.
If any problems occur, and we are unable to ship within two days, we’ll contact you with an update.
If you need your order to arrive sooner, please contact us, and we will try our best to accommodate your needs, and let you know about any additional shipping costs.
Canadian orders are shipped via USPS parcel post. Please contact us regarding shipment to other international destinations. We’ll try our best to work it out.

We want you to be happy with your purchase, and understand that sometimes something your order on the internet isn’t quite the same thing that you had in mind when your ordered it. With that in mind, Three Stone Steps accepts returns within two weeks of your receiving your order.
We regret that we can only accept returns of new, unused items only.
Once we receive your return we will refund your payment to your credit card, minus our shipping cost.

Is Three Stone Steps a charity? Is my purchase a donation?
We operate on the social enterprise model with a triple bottom line of people, planet, and profit. We believe that if you want to give to a cause, you'll give to a cause, and don't need to buy a scarf or a handbag to do that. Also, please see the about page, and the donations section below.
Do you travel to the SE Asia and Haiti for your products?
Of course. We feel strongly about working directly with fair trade producer groups and individual artisans. We also don’t carry any items without seeing the conditions under which they are produced. We can't fathom ordering products from a wholesale catalog.
Will you provide a donation to my organization?
Maybe.
Three Stone Steps attempts to balance out the global nature of having an import company with helping the local community. So, one of our first priorities is providing in-kind donations to Baltimore-based organizations. We also look favorably on art and culture organizations, organizations advocating for social and economic justice and transparency, and environmental organizations that have the urban landscape as their prime focus.
