It's Wednesday, it's gray here in Baltimore, and it's been an emotionally exhausting couple of weeks. To add some beauty and levity when we all really need it, I've posted a few of the brand new recycled steel drum metal art pieces that we scored on our trip to Haiti back in early January. More are coming soon, but enjoy these in the meantime. We're calling this solar eclipse. And, yes, it's our absolute favorite new piece. Seahorses are just wild creatures. We love how textured, almost industrial, the tail is. Staying with the nautical theme, here's a mermaid. You should know, mermaids are subject of metal art, however, I rarely find pieces I like. Happy this one turned up. She's so lovely. Here at Three Stone Steps. we carry a lot of trees. We carry a lot of flowering trees. We also carry a lot of birds in tree, but we just couldn't resist these long-tailed birds on an S-shaped tree.
Would love your thoughts on these pieces and more soon.
